Sarah Scammell Downs, 30, of Los Alamos pled guilty in Los Alamos Magistrate Court to the charge of DWI. Judge Pat Casados sentenced Downs to serve 364 days of supervised probation, and to pay $241 in court fees. Downs also was ordered to install an inter-lock device on her vehicle.

Dec. 14

Tyler Jones, 26, of Los Alamos pled not guilty in Los Alamos Magistrate Court to the charges of battery and criminal damage to property. Judge Pat Casados found Jones guilty and sentenced him to serve 180 days of supervised probation and to pay $146 in court fees.

Dec. 21

Ashlee Justice, 29, of Los Alamos pled not guilty in Los Alamos Magistrate Court to the charge of possession of marijuana. Judge Pat Casados found Justice guilty and sentenced her to serve 90 days of supervised probation and to pay $276 in court fees.

Dec. 22

James Stewart, 67, of Los Alamos pled guilty in Los Alamos Magistrate Court to the charge of disorderly conduct, which was adjudicated from his original charge of battery against a household member. Judge Pat Casados sentenced Stewart to serve 180 days of unsupervised probation and to pay $73 in court fees.

Jan. 5

Dinah Ortiz, 21, of Dixon pled guilty in Los Alamos Magistrate Court to the charge of possession of a controlled substance – attempt, which was adjudicated from her original charge of bringing contraband to jail. Judge Pat Casados sentenced Ortiz to serve 364 days of supervised probation and to pay $148 in court fees.

Miriam Rosenblum, 28, of Los Alamos pled guilty in Los Alamos Magistrate Court to the charge of disorderly conduct. Judge Pat Casados sentenced Rosenblum to serve 364 days of unsupervised probation and to pay $73 in court fees.

Jan. 10

Robert Silva, 47, of Los Alamos pled guilty in Los Alamos Magistrate Court to the charges of driving under the influence of liquor or drugs and speeding. Judge Pat Casados dismissed the speeding charge and sentenced Silva to serve 364 days of supervised probation and to pay $241 in court fees. Silva also was ordered to install an inter-lock device on his vehicle.
