Difficult driving conditions in No. NM Friday

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — The state transportation department says several roadways are snow packed in northern New Mexico.

U.S. 64 has difficult driving conditions with about two inches of snow and it continues to snow lightly.

New Mexico state road 434 has difficult driving conditions. It is snowing and the road has two inches of accumulation.

Crews are plowing, salting and sanding the roadway. Motorists should drive with caution and reduce their speed.

Other roadways with hazardous driving conditions are state roads NM 38 and NM 120. Road crews are on the job salting, sanding and plowing.
