Daylight a delight

Last week I inquired at Daylight Delights whether the restaurant would be open on Dec. 24. Told that it would be, I proceeded with my invitations to friends and two daughters here for the holidays, and gathered there for brunch.Two tables were quickly joined and we eight friends enjoyed a delightful late breakfast. At its conclusion, to my great surprise, I learned that the restaurant was not “open for business” and that they had served only us that day.It’s astounding, especially at this time of year, that any business would be so accommodating and friendly.
