Los Alamos Hilltopper boys cross country runner Kyle Pittman added to the list of honors the team has received for its stellar 2007 season.Pittman, who ran for the national runner-up Los Alamos squad, was named to the sophomore All-American Team by The Harrier magazine, a national track and cross country publication.Pittman was an instrumental part of the Hilltopper squad that upset Albuquerque Academy at the state cross country meet Nov. 10, as well as helping his squad to a first-place tie with Academy at the Nike Team Nationals qualifying race a week later in Tempe, Ariz., followed by a second-place finish at the NTN championship race Dec. 1 in Portland, Ore.The Harrier, in its Dec. 31 issue, named three New Mexico runners to its sophomore All-American class. Along with Pittman, Ryan Clarke and Pat Zacharias, both of Academy, were named to the squad.
