Following Challacombe, who finished the race in a time of 6 minutes, 43 seconds, Rachel Thoma, Sienna Ahlers and Emily Mercer, all of Barranca Mesa, took the next four spots.
In the boys competition, Chamisa held on to beat Aspen. Chamisa finished with 64 points, 15 points better than Aspen.
