Courtney Jill Gartz and Roger Lucas Miller will be married on Nov. 19, 2011 in Bountiful, Utah Temple of the Church of Latter-Day Saints.
Parents of the bride are Roger and Connie Gartz of Los Alamos. Parents of the groom are Jane and Kent MIller of Ogden, UT.
Courtney received her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and Master of Education degree from the Unversity of Virginia and teaches elementary education in Virginia.
Roger received his bachelor’s degree in zoology from Weber State University, D.D.S. at Indiana University School of Dentistry, and Masters Degree in Oral Biology from Universty of Texas Health Science Center. Last year he completed a residency program in prosthodontics at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio and is currently stationed at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C. where he practices and teaches prosthodontics.
Courtney served an LDS Church mission in Washington, D.C. Roger served in the Halifax, Nova Scotia mission. They enjoy traveling and have used their skills helping others in Ecuador and Fiji.
An open house for the couple will be held at the Gartz home on Dec. 30.
