Free Flight Giveaway: Enter during ScienceFest
During upcoming ScienceFest events in September, Los Alamos County Airport (LAM) will promote the new commercial air service being offered between Los Alamos and Albuquerque by giving away two free round trip flights on New Mexico Airlines, the company under contract to the county that provides commercial airline service between LAM and Albuquerque’s Sunport (ABQ). LAM will sponsor three booths: 1) RocketDay from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at Overlook Park; 2) the Science of Flight from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 13 at the airport; and 3) ExpoDay at 11 a.m. Sept. 13.
To enter, participants should drop by the booth and complete a short survey which is also the entry form. The survey asks a few questions about the individual’s use or knowledge of the airline service. A name, email address and phone number will be required on the winning entry to qualify.
The winner will be drawn in a random drawing and contacted by e-mail or phone the week after ScienceFest, with instructions on how to receive the certificate of award for the free flight, which will be issued by New Mexico Airlines.
