Council to meet Tuesday

County council is set to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers at the Community Building at 20th Street and Central Avenue. The meeting is open to the public.Agenda items include proclamations declaring the week of April 13-19 as “National Public Safety Telecommunicator Appreciation Week” and April 11 as “Tribute to Teacher Excellence Day” in Los Alamos County.Council also is scheduled to recognize County Administrator Max Baker for his recent appointment to the board of directors of the Center for Public Safety Excellence.The consent agenda lists approval of the following items:• purchase of two 2008 Trackless Municipal Tractors with plows from O.J. Watson Co. of Denver in an amount not to exceed $174,092;• budget Revision No.
