Consent agenda items will top Tuesday night’s county council meeting at 7 p.m. in council chambers.

Dr. Cedric Page, Executive Director of UNM-LA will attend the meeting, where he will give councilors a brief presentation on the state of UNM-LA.

There are five items slated for the consent agenda, as well. The first item is a motion that would support county participation in the New Mexico Department of Transportation 2009/2010 Municipal Arterial Program for the Phase IV Rehabilitation of Diamond Drive from North Road to the Loa Alamos Canyon Bridge. A portion of the pavement rehabilitation associated with the Diamond Drive project meets the criteria for application for a NMDOT MAP grant. MAP grants provide 75 percent funding with the receiving entity funding a 25 percent match.

The second consent agenda item asks for approval of a contract in the amount of $310,088, with a contingency amount of $40,000 to upgrade equipment associated with the electric SCADA system.

The third item is a motion asking for the vacation of the utility easement within Lot 165, North Community No. 2.

The fourth item also has to do with a motion for easement. This item asks that council accept the grant of easement within Tract I of Eastern Area No. 1 for Operation and Maintenance of Public Utility Infrastructure.
