-A A +A
By The Staff

The Los Alamos County Council will consider an ordinance terminating an economic development agreement with Elemetric Instruments as its first order of business at 7 p.m. Tuesday, when it meets in the Community Building.

Also on the agenda is a request from the Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization for funding the Day Out Program. Also, Fire Chief Doug Tucker will lead a discussion about a request for approval of a Joint Powers Agreement for wildland fire protection and suppression with the New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department Forestry Division.

Several presentations are scheduled.

Police Chief Wayne Torpy will present the police department annual report. Public Information Officer Julie Habiger will lead a briefing on the possibility of broadcasting council meetings in White Rock.

Finally, the council will discuss county attorney and county administrator goals and evaluation criteria.

A special county council meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday night, also in the Community Building to follow up on the New Municipal Building Space Program, a discussion that began at the Feb. 16, meeting.

Both meetings will be broadcast on PAC-8 television.
