Correction

A clerical error at the Rio Arriba Magistrate Court led to an error in Friday’s Police Beat, which reported that Justin Chavez, 22, of Chimay was arrested June 10 near 15th Street on a Magistrate Court warrant for failure to appear in court. While Chavez was arrested, the court has since admitted the bench warrant should have been issued to Justin Chavez of Hernandez. The court apologized for the error and for causing Justin Chavez – of Chimay – to be held for more than three hours by the police.
