Diamond Drive
Phase 4
West Road/LAMC entrance will be closed for approximately one week starting on Tuesday. The contractor will be installing a valley gutter; use the HRL building driveway or the hospital access off Trinity. Once the West Road access is reopened, work will begin on the valley gutter at the LANL HRL building driveway; use West Road.
Other work scheduled for this week and next includes striping and placement of roadway markings. Two additional coats of striping and roadway markings will be placed over the next 2-3 weeks to allow paint to cure between each application. Expect short term lane closures during non-peak hours. Please observe established traffic control to avoid getting paint on your vehicle.
Manhole and valve cover adjustments will occur between the Los Alamos Canyon Bridge abutment to approximately Sycamore. These adjustments are required to bring the manholes and valve covers to the correct height. Expect short-term lane closures during non-peak hours.
As the contractor works through any identified punch list item, there will likely be short-term intermittent lane closures.
