Eastern Area 2 Concrete, Paving & Utility Project – Phase 2:

15th Street: Paving operations will begin Monday. Driveway accesses to business parking areas on 15th Street are closed; valley gutters and drive pads have been placed. This closure will last for 15 days to allow time to place forms, concrete, and cure time for the fresh concrete. During the closure, the contractor will be placing blue “business access” signs to provide motorists direction to the alternate driveway.

Expect single lane closure/flagging operations between Oakwood South and Central Avenue to allow reconstruction of the road through Saturday, Oct. 12.

Expect heavy truck traffic and congestion with lane closures and flagging operations. Motorists should seek alternate routes and allow additional time to get to their destination.

Western Area Phase 1:

Paving operations have been completed; expect minor work throughout the project area as RMCI works on punch list items.

The south eastbound lane on Trinity Drive continues to be closed between Knecht and DP Road through November. Expect congestion and plan for delays, especially during the evening commute. Alternate routes are recommended.

Smith’s Marketplace: Truck Traffic on N.M. 502 and Trinity Drive Near MariMac.

Construction continues at the Marketplace work site south of MariMac Plaza through opening day in May 2014, which means motorists using Main Hill Road (N.M. 502) and Trinity Drive near the Marketplace work site can expect to continue to see significant truck traffic. Expect delays and allow extra time if using this route, or seek alternate routes.
