My children and I are very grateful to family, friends and the wonderfully supportive Los Alamos community for all of the kindness and support you have provided to us following the sudden passing of Meg Kennison, wife and mother.
So many people have reached out to us during this very difficult time. The kind words, the prepared meals and help with transportation have all helped us to make it from day to day. The memorial service at the First United Methodist Church was a beautiful tribute to Meg’s kind and gentle life. We sincerely thank the church for opening their doors to us and for all the volunteers that made the memorial service possible.
The loss of Meg has been a terrible shock to us and to many in the community.
It has been difficult for me to compose a letter of my gratitude to all who have reached out to help. I will work to thank you individually as time passes but, for now please know that we are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of kindness.
