Los Alamos Piecemakers Quilt Guild “Tomorrow’s Heirlooms” Quilt Show from 9 a.m.– 5 p.m. at the Crossroads Bible Church in Los Alamos. Tickets for the show are $2 for adults and $1 for children under 12. There will be vendors from all over New Mexico, a silent auction and numerous quilts and other hand-made items to view. Tickets will be available for the Donation Quilt “Spinning Stars.”

Los Alamos Little Theatre will present Alan Ayckbourn’s “Communicating Doors,” a time-traveling murder mystery, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Los Alamos Little Theatre, 1670 Nectar St. Performances will be 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays Sept. 22-23. Visit lalt.org for more information.

MONDAY
Chapter AK, P.E.O. meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Nancy Coombs, 173 San Juan St., on Barranca Mesa. Norma Puckett will be the co-hostess. Judy Goldie will give a program on polio eradication. RSVP to Nancy at 412-0219.

Kiwanis Committee Day. Board of Directors Member John Arrowsmith has announced that Kiwanis will begin a new Fourth Week approach, meeting in the evening, from 5:30-7 p.m. The meeting will still be held in Kelly Hall at Trinity-on-the-Hill Episcopal Church (TOTH). There will be food and a social time from 5:30-6 p.m., and then, from 6-7 p.m., there will be Committee Meetings. As in the past, members should come prepared to listen to presentations. There will be no meeting on Tuesday.
