Pueblo Canyon Geology Walk at 12:30 p.m. at the Nature Center.
Hear about the geology of Pueblo Canyon from Elaine Jacobs while hiking the gentle Pueblo Canyon Rim Trail. Free.
Fall prevention presentation
from 2-3 p.m. at Aspen Ridge Assisted Living, 1010 Sombrillo Court in the Recreation Room. Presenters will be Donna McHenry, EMS, Pauline Schneider, the senior center director, and Cynthia Goldblatt, Los Alamos Retirement Community community liaison. Los Alamos Genealogical Association meeting at 7 p.m. at the Mesa Public Library. The program will be presented by Irma Holtkamp. The subject will be “Using Clues in Census Records to Find Your Family in Other Sources.” The traditional no-host social dinner will convene earlier that evening at 5:30 p.m. at the China Moon restaurant.
Gentle Walks
at 9 a.m. at the Nature Center. A gentle walk for which the emphasis is on discovery, not mileage gained. Free.

Los Alamos County Employee Fund Committee Arts and Crafts Fair from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Fuller Lodge. The Los Alamos County Employee Fund Committee invites the public to start holiday shopping early by attending the arts and crafts fair.

Nature Yoga and Trail Run
at 11:45 a.m. at the Nature Center. Practice yoga with Christa Tyson at the nature center, where you have a great view of nature. Optional: Arrive at 10:30 a.m. to join Christa for a pre-yoga run.  Admission: yoga or run for $7/$5 for members; yoga and run for $12/$8 for members.

Chapter AK, P.E.O., meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the home of Pamela Massey, 1299 San Ildefonso Road on North Mesa. Jane Phillips is the co-hostess. Nov. 14 — Los Alamos Visiting Nurses Pear-to-Peer Grief Group will meet from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the United Church of Los Alamos in the Education Building lounge, 2525 Canyon Road.
