Toys for Tots

Help the U.S. Marines by donating new, unwrapped toys for their toy drive. Items may be dropped off at “R” wing of Los Alamos High School, in the NJROTC building by Dec. 3.

Nominate a living treasure

Living Treasures of Los Alamos welcomes nominations of new Treasures for the next ceremony on April 17, 2011. Nominees must be Los Alamos residents who have made outstanding contributions to the life, heart and spirit of our community. Nominating guidelines and biographies of current Living Treasures can be found at livingtreasureslosalamos.org. Letters of nomination based on these guidelines and including as much information as possible about the candidates should be submitted before Nov. 30 either by mail to LTLA, P.O. Box 1065, Los Alamos, NM 87544 or by e-mail to rosalieheller88@gmail.com. All names submitted are carefully considered by the Living Treasures board and if not chosen for 2011 will remain eligible for future selection.
