Drivers needed
Los Alamos Lions Club provides services to the community. One activity is the HELP program, which started 30 years ago. The program provides free transportation for medical treatment and appointments outside the county. Patients are transported to Española, Santa Fe and Albuquerque. There are 30 drivers, but more are always needed. If you would like to be a volunteer driver call Barbara Croley at 672-3618 or Lee Sullivan at 661-8037.

SNR seeks volunteers
Sombrillo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is recruiting volunteers to help in the following areas: gardening, reading to individuals, leading a craft project, playing card or board games with residents, helping with bingo, playing music or leading a sing-along session. Call the activities director at 662-4300 for details.
Volunteers needed
The Fuller Lodge Art  Center needs up to a dozen new volunteers. Volunteers sit at the reception desk, greet visitors as they enter and handle any sales. Often visitors have questions about Los Alamos and the interactions with the volunteers become part of their vacation experience. Shifts available are from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. or 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Call Amy Bjarke at 662-1635 or email gallery@fullerlodgeartcenter.com.
