The County’s Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) Evaluation and Oversight Committee will hold a business meeting at 5:15 p.m. Thursday in council chambers.
They will continue discussions about improvements to the CIP process.
The committee will also hear updates from county staff on future plans for conducting public outreach on CIP meetings.
All committee business meetings are open to the public and agendas are posted 72 hours in advance of the meeting.
Public comment is accepted at the beginning and close of each meeting.
The committee includes five county staff members and five citizen members.
In addition to reviewing CIP applications and making recommendations to the county administrator when a CIP cycle is opened, the committee has oversight responsibility for CIP projects that have been funded by council.
Several projects are currently in the Phase 2 Design process, with many more in the Phase 1 Study process being recently approved in December.
