Neighbors and friends of White Rock Presbyterian Church are invited to join with members to celebrate Valentine’s Day and enjoy a chalupa supper, during which the new interim pastor, Rev. Dr. Harry Cole, will be introduced.
Cole began his interim ministry with WRPC on Nov. 27 after serving as an interim pastor in about 10 other congregations around the nation. Most recently, Cole was interim pastor at Westminster Church of Roswell.
St. Valentine’s Day is a traditional occasion honoring sweethearts, married couples and all who celebrate the love of Christian fellowship.
Marriage is a sacrament of the church and love is a passion of the heart, the symbol of St. Valentine’s Day.
The celebration will feature a chalupa supper, where this dish can be shared with neighbors and friends. Each can make the chalupa of their choice.
