Carl Maggiore

Carl Jerome Maggiore, 67, of Los Alamos, died at home on Friday morning, Jan.  7, in the company of his wife and children; he had been ill with metastatic rectal cancer.
Carl was born in Grand Island, Neb., to Carl H. and Betty Kiehl Maggiore, who preceded him in death.  He graduated from Creighton University and received his Ph.D. in physics from Michigan State University, where he completed his thesis work at the cyclotron.
