County councilors will have their work cut out for them during Tuesday night’s meeting. Council will meet at 7 p.m. in the Community Building, where they will handle a full agenda.
State Representative Jeannette Wallace and Lobbyist Scott Scanland will give a legislative update at the beginning of the meeting.
In addition, there are two items slated for the consent agenda. The first item authorizes the utilities manager and the deputy utilities manager to execute documents with the New Mexico Environment Department of behalf of the county, relating to the Camp May Road fire hydrant extension project.
The second item will authorize the utilities manager and the deputy utilities manager to execute documents with the New Mexico Environment Department on behalf of the county relating to the effluent reuse facilities project.
The business portion of Tuesday night’s agenda is heavy, as there are five items that will be handled. The first item affirms the objectives of the school district and county in partnering to complete the Trinity Redevelopment project.
The second item will be a review of the Diamond Drive Phase 3 public information and involvement plan.
