William Frank Brewer, age 85, a resident of Baja, California, Punta Banda, passed away from this life on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, in San Diego, CA.
Frank retired from Zia Co. Los Alamos, NM. He was a resident of Punta Banda for over 25 years, where he served as a friend, a mechanic and an all around handyman for many people. His joy was to fish in the ocean.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Harley Brewer (1964), Violeta Brewer Maes, Brother’s-in-law; Jerry Cox, Bobby Mares, Max Avila and two grandchildren Matthew and Melissa Atencio.
Frank is survived by his companion of many years, Jenny Wilson. Children; Dorothy Brewer and companion David Roybal of San Ildefonso Pueblo, Patty Romero and husband Wilfred of Nambe, Susie Gilbert and husband Greg of Winterhaven, CA, Frank and wife Carol of Santa Clara Pueblo, Kathy Brandstetter and husband Marvin of Alcalde, Renee Sanchez and husband Rex of Los Lunas, Sisters; Helen Brewer Cox of Nebraska, Fay Mares of Albuquerque, Be Berthiaume and husband Ron of Kingsland, GA, Brother; Roger Weahkee of San Ildefonso Pueblo. Grand children, great grandchildren and great-great grand children. Dear friends; Pablof family, extended family and numerous other relatives. Frank will be dearly missed.
His body was cremated. At a date to be determined his ashes will be returned to Punta Banda and scattered into the Pacific Ocean.
The Brewer family expresses their gratitude to all who loved him and looked after him as he aged and thank the many people who were a part of his life’s journey here on earth. May God bless you and keep you.
