Breaking News: Petition circulating to reinstate LAHS football player

A petition being circulated around the community was scheduled to be turned into superintendent Gene Schmidt today concerning the reinstatement of a suspended Hilltopper football player.
Among those seeking the reinstatement for the player was Tina M. Forsman, mother of a current Hilltopper football player and treasurer of the LAHS Gridiron Booster Club.
The petition concerns a senior offensive lineman who was suspended prior to the start of the 2012 season. The senior was a starter for the Hilltoppers in his sophomore and junior years.
