The Los Alamos Hilltopper boys basketball team fell to the Taos Tigers Saturday night on the road.
Taos, a former District 2-4A opponent of the Hilltoppers, knocked off the Hilltoppers 53-46. Taos went on a 7-0 run in the third quarter behind Max Suazo to take a lead it would never relinquish.
Suazo finished with a game-high 22 points. For Los Alamos, Nick Baker had 19 points.
The Hilltoppers (3-6) have now lost three of four contests heading into the Poe Corn Tournament which starts Dec. 28.
