Christie Kelly and Brian Boyer were the top finishers at the Jerry Bower Memorial Run Saturday.
The Jerry Bower Memorial Run was a 5K road race starting from the Betty Ehart Senior Center and continuing through streets just north of the downtown area. Proceeds from Saturday’s race went to benefit Alzheimer’s research.
Boyer was the top overall finisher, winning the race in 23 minutes, 32 seconds, 33 seconds faster than runner-up Matthew Hopkins. Andres Lovato was third with his time of 24:43.
Kelly was the top female finisher in the race with her time of 28:30, just nipping Altana Gray by one second. Allison Rooney (30:55) was third.
