Many people in Los Alamos will participate in the Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty (CROP) hunger walk, which helps alleviate world hunger at the grassroots level. This walk will be held in conjunction with the Turkey Trot, both sponsored by LA Cares and Atomic City Roadrunners. The events will held at 2 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Posse Shack. If interested in donating, people can give a check made out to "CROP Walk" to the following local team captains; Jeanne Butler, David Fry, Aaron Goldman, Ginny Melvin, Cathy Walters, and Lynn Wysocki-Smith. If interested in participating, please contact Aaron Goldman at email@example.com. More information about CROP can be found at www.cropwalk.org.
