A discussion of the U.S.-Russia New START nuclear weapons treaty will be presented at an open meeting of the Los Alamos Committee on Arms Control and International Security at 7:30 p.m. in the lounge at the United Church.  The meeting, which will be moderated by retired LANL weapons scientist Thurman Talley, will cover the treaty’s verification provisions and review the reasons to support ratification by the Senate.

Come hear the old standards and a few new arrangements played on tubas, euphoiums and alto horns during the free Christmas Concert at 7:15 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
