Cowboy Breakfast at the Los Alamos Sheriff’s Posse Lodge. 7-11 a.m., 650 North Mesa Road, near the stables. $7 adults, $4 children 10 years old and under. Proceeds to benefit the Los Alamos Sheriff’s Posse Lodge.
Nature Playtimes at PEEC. 10-11 a.m. Toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers come to PEEC to explore the natural world. Summit Garden Club will meet this afternoon. The speaker will be Christie Kelly, of Cece’s Gardens in White Rock. She will demonstrate how to make a beautiful and long-lasting floral arrangement with just a few very healthy blooms, and how to arrange with only greens. For the hearing impaired. A representative from Caption Call telephone systems will be at the Betty Ehart Senior Center from 12:30-4:30 p.m., in the Conference Room upper level. Anyone having difficulty hearing on a regular phone can drop in for a demonstration. An Internet connection is necessary to receive captioning on these instruments. Phones and service are free to all hearing impaired, after a one time installation charge. No charge at all for veterans.
Quiet Gentle Walk. 9:15-11:45 a.m. A gentle walk for those who want a quiet walk along a relatively flat trail. The walks range from one to two miles in length and may include gentle changes in elevation. Free. The Thrift Shop at the United Church is having an “Everything Christmas” Sale from 8:30 a.m. to noon in Graves Hall, 2525 Canyon Road. There will be Baked Goods, ornaments, new and used handmade items and the” Trash to Treasures” sale.

North Pole Workshop and Luminaria Walk. The family friendly holiday tradition. 5-7 p.m. starting at North Mesa Stables. Dress warmly, wear your walking shoes. Afterwards, Posse Lodge will have professional digital photographs with Santa and his elves, warm drinks, light refreshments and a holiday craft.
