The annual crèche exhibit, a free community event, will be from 1-7:30 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 4. Refreshments are provided. There will be a separate touching room where the children will find touchable nativities such as crocheted nativities and finger puppets and they can color their own creche.
“The Nutcracker” is a perennial holiday favorite that follows Clara on her journey through a winter wonderland to the Kingdom of Sweets. Audiences of all ages are welcome to usher in the holiday season with Dance Arts Los Alamos in this beloved tradition set to Tchaikovsky’s classic score at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 and 2 p.m. Dec. 4-5 at the Duane Smith Auditorium. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students.
Parents are invited to drop their children off while they shop for holiday gifts from 9 a.m.-noon at the Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church for the 8th annual Children’s Christmas Bazaar. The Bazaar is open to kids from Kindergarten-6th grade. Visit latoth.org for more information.
