Los Alamos Community of Atheists will have the monthly discussion meeting 6:30 to 8 p.m. upstairs at Mesa Public Library. All are welcome. Discussion will be focused on the idea of organized “Sunday Assembly” which is sometimes referred to as atheist “church.” Email email@example.com with questions or find us on facebook.
Brown Bag Lecture. Bruce Masse’s The Great Comet of AD 1264 and the Role of Celestial Events in Past Civilizations. Noon to 1 p.m. at the Bradbury Science Museum.
The Juvenile Justice Advisory Board’s next meeting will be 6:00 p.m. in Building No. 1, Camino Entrada Road, Pajarito Cliffs Site. Brittany Koukol and Brian Arnst will give a presentation about the BEAR. (“Bonding through Experiential Adventures in Recovery”) program, which is an intensive outpatient treatment program for young people based in Santa Fe. The public is welcome to attend.
