“Running High, Running Low: Trail Running in Copper Canyon and the Jemez,” an illustrated talk by David Coblentz will be at 7 p.m. at Pajarito Environmental Education Center, 3540 Orange St. Coblentz will describe his running of a 50-mile ultramarathon with the native Tarahumara Indian runners of Mexico and note the geologic similarities and differences between the geology of the Sierra Madres and the Jemez. The talk is free and open to the public.
Enjoy a breakfast before the Veterans Day ceremony at the American Legion, from 7:30-10:30 a.m. The event, hosted by the Elks Lodge, will include omelets made to order, or crème brulee French toast, both served with homemade breakfast sausage, coffee and juice. Donations are requested, but the event is free to veterans.
Chamisa Elementary will hold its annual fall craft and business fair with items ranging from handcrafted jewelry and children’s items to candles and food. The event will begin at
