The Sierra Club is hosting Kim Ribbons from Bioneers, a global non-profit organization, at 7 p.m. at Mesa Public Library. Bioneers serves as a hub and source for breakthrough solutions for the issues facing us today. Through conferences in the U.S. and internationally, globally syndicated radio series and other media outlets, Bioneers is encouraging a way to live on Earth that honors both people and planet. The November meeting of the Los Alamos Master Gardeners will be at 7 p.m. in the Nambé Room of Fuller Lodge.
The Mesa Public Library Film Series will show the film “Sin Nombre,” at 6:30 p.m. in the upstairs meeting rooms. The film is about a young girl’s fraught journey to the U.S.

Dia de los Muertos: A group show featuring work by Cruz Lopez, Toby Morfin, Diego Lopez, Benjamin Lopez, Leroy Lopez, Adrian Martinez, Russell Martinez, Tom Borrego, Patricio Chavez, Gene Ortega, Bryan Romero and Jaime Rodriguez will open from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Northern New Mexico College’s Nick Salazar Center for the Arts Art Gallery. The show will run until Sunday night.
