The Los Alamos High School NJROTC will host brisket night from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Posse Shack on North Mesa, about one mile from the roundabout, on the left.
$10 per plate, includes barbecue brisket, potato salad, vegetable, a roll, drink and dessert.

The Authors Speaks Series will feature novelist and playwright Mark Dunn at
7 p.m. in the upstairs rotunda at Mesa Public Library.

Democratic Party meeting from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Mesa Public Library, meeting room 3. Local Democrats will gather to discuss final plans for election activities. All supporters of Democratic Party values are invited to attend.

Discover the unique cultures of Finnish-Norwegian Sami cultures at 10 a.m. in the Great Room at the Betty Ehart Senior Center.

See the beauty of Lapland, landscapes, fall flora, reindeer and Norwegian coastal harbors as we travel by bus, ship and train. Learn about the foods and culture of this  area at the top of the world. Meet the people of this interesting land. Stay for lunch and enjoy Finnish cake. Call 662-8922 for lunch  reservations. Doug and Ruth Lier will give a digital photo presentation.
