The Authors Speak Series presents, E.B. Held: The Spy’s Guide to Santa Fe and Albuquerque at 7 p.m. in the upstairs rotunda.
Fall Gardening class from 7-9 p.m. at PEEC, led by Martha Davis. Learn what to do now to prepare your garden for the spring. $20 or $18 for members. Register in advance at www.PajaritoEEC.org.
Kitchen Creations classes run from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 27, Nov. 3, 10 and 17 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Parish Hall, 3700 Canyon Road. The program will help people with diabetes and their families learn how to prepare meals that are low in sugar, fat and sodium. Classes are free to people with diabetes and family members or caretakers. Pre-registration is required and spaces are limited. Call 662-2656 to register.
Trick or treat on MainStreet from 4-6:30 p.m. The Halloweiner parade will be at 5:30 p.m. down Central Avenue. The Bradbury Sciece Museum’s High Tech Halloween will be from 4-7 p.m. The YMCA costume climb will be from 5-8 p.m.
