Maul of Horrors Haunted House, sponsored by For Kids Sake. Open from 6-
11 p.m. through Oct. 23 and Oct. 25-29; from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 30; 7 p.m.-midnight Oct. 30; and noon-7 p.m. Oct. 31. DeVargas Center, Santa Fe. For Kids Sake will also host El Pueblo Asylum, a haunted house and pumpkin patch in Española. The event will be located at the old El Pueblo Bank Building in the San Pedro Plaza. El Pueblo Asylum will run from 6-11 p.m.  Oct. 28-30 and noon- 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Admission is $3 or $10 for a family four-pack. For more information call 577-3678.
Thursday
The Sierrans will do the Valles Caldera fall highway cleanup. Those interested may help, it will take no more than two hours. Meet at Ponderosa Campground at 4:30 p.m., carpool to the Sierrans’ stretch of road at the Valles Caldera. Bring work gloves (bags supplied).Call David Gemeinhart, 662-6267, if you have further questions.

The Daytime Republican Women will meet at noon at the Republican Headquarters, 146 Central Avenue Square. The Republican candidates for county council will be the guests. For more information call JoAnn Johnson, 662-7981.
