A stress free meditation class will be offered from 6-
7 p.m. at the Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center. The free class will be taught by Bhasweti Gewhas, a certified hypnotherapist, life coach, Reiki master and theta healer and will teach participants how to enjoy life without stress. For more information call 662-8170.
Wednesday
Maul of Horrors Haunted House, sponsored by For Kids Sake. Open from 6-11 p.m. through Oct. 23; Oct. 25-29; from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 30; 7 p.m.-midnight Oct. 30; and noon-7 p.m. Oct. 31. DeVargas Center, Santa Fe. For Kids Sake will also host El Pueblo Asylum, a haunted house and pumpkin patch in Española. The event will be located at the old El Pueblo Bank Building in the San Pedro Plaza. El Pueblo Asylum will run from 6-11 p.m. Oct. 28-30 and noon- 8 p.m. Oct. 31. The Daytime Republican Women will meet at noon at the Republican Headquarters, 146 Central Avenue Square. The Republican candidates for County Council will be the guests. For more information call JoAnn Johnson, 662-7981.
