A new shape note singing group will meet on a monthly basis, beginning today. Shape note singing is for all ages and abilities, regardless of previous singing experience. The group will meet from 7-9 p.m. at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, in the chapel. The group will meet on the ‘teenth Thursday of every month (the Thursday between the 13th and 19th, there is only one per month). They will sing from “The Sacred Harp,” 1991 edition. If you have a book, please bring it. If you have a previous edition of this book, bring it anyway.
