Monster Movie Wednesdays at UNM-LA will feature “The Invisible Man” at 6 p.m. in the UNM-LA Lecture Hall in Building 2. The movie is free and open to the public.
Thursday
The Los Alamos Republican Women will elect officers for 2011-2012 at their 7 p.m. meeting at the Republican Headquarters,146 Central Park Square. Betty Cox will present a program on the history of Women’s Right to Vote. For information JoAnn Johnson, 662-7981.

Poetry gatherings will be at 6:30 p.m. in the upstairs rotunda at Mesa Public Library.

The White Rock Family Friendly Film Series continues with “Secret of Kells,” at 7 p.m. at the White Rock Town Hall.
