NJROTC will serve a full meal including barbecue brisket, potato salad, a vegetable, a roll, drink and dessert from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Posse Shack. $10 per plate.

Agatha Christie, noted author of murder mystery novels and plays, has been honored this month in Great Britain and elsewhere on the 120th anniversary of her birth. The Los Alamos Little Theatre will pay its homage with auditions for the Christie play, “Go Back for Murder,” scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 at the theatre, 1670 Nectar St.

The Knights of Columbus will hold their Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament at the Los Alamos Golf Course. The event kicks off with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Teams will be two-person and the cost is $100 per person. Awards will be presented for closest-to-the pin and long drive. Lunch and the awards ceremony have been slated for immediately following the tournament. Door prizes from local businesses will be presented.
