The Heart of Enchantment Quilt Show sponsored by the Los Alamos Piecemakers Quilt Guild. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Crossroads Bible Church, 97 East Road. The Show will feature quilts and fiber arts items made by Guild members and members of the Jemez Bear Paws Quilt Guild.

National Native American Day. All day at Bandelier. Movieson aspects of local Pueblo culture will be presented and a special exhibit of items recently added to the museum collection.

Trip to Shark’s Tooth Ridge. 8 a.m. Local geologist Patrick Rowe will lead a group to the aptly-named area near Cabezon, at which five different species of cretaceous age shark’s teeth can be found. Enchantment Chihuahua Rescue, a volunteer charity will be hosting a Meet and Greet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Starbucks on Central Avenue. Chihuahua pet adoptions available, Snuggie sale for $12, sign up for raffle — drawing Dec. 23 and donations will be accepted to help Chihuahua, “Denmark” get a crucial MRI and/or surgery. Nature Playtimes at PEEC. 10-11 a.m. Toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers come to PEEC to explore the natural world.
