 The Juvenile Justice Advisory Board’s next meeting will be 6 p.m. in Building No. 1, Camino Entrada Road, Pajarito Cliffs Site. Karen Doyle will give a presentation about Dialectical Behavior Therapy and the services now being offered in Los Alamos. The public is welcome to attend.

Los Alamos Farmers Market. 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Los Alamos Library parking lot. Come and smell the roasting green chile. Bring a new person that hasn’t been to the market and register them at the information booth for the contest and get 25 extra free tickets as a bonus. This week and next week only.

Authors Speak Series. 7 p.m., Mesa Public Library, upstairs rotunda. James Beard award winning cookbook authors, Cheryl and Bill Jamison talk “Tasting New Mexico: Recipes Celebrating One Hundred Years of Distinctive Home Cooking.”

Cold Frames and Greenhouses Class. 6:30-8 p.m. Certified arborist Laural Hardin will discuss how you can extend your growing season by using cold frames and greenhouses.
