 Family Game Night at Mesa Public Library. Join the geeks and gamers from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the upstairs rotunda for game boards galore. All ages welcome, please bring a parent or another adult if you’re 12 or younger.

Doug Howe, District 3 PRC commissioner  will hold a “Focus On” meeting to discuss the new-found attention on unconventional natural gas supplies, at 7 p.m. in the upstairs meeting rooms at Mesa Public Library. All individuals interested in attending are welcome.  The Mesa Public Library Film Series presents “I Am Love,” starring Tilda Swinton, at 6:30 p.m. This will be the final movie of the Foreign Film Series.

The August meeting of the Los Alamos Master Gardeners will be at 7 p.m. in the Community Building training room.

Pre-registration for exhibits in the Los Alamos County Fair will be accepted through today. Register online at losalamosextension.nmsu.edu/fair.html or at the Los Alamos Extension Office in the Los Alamos Community Building, 475 20th St. Suite A. First Friday Forts at PEEC from 3:30-5 p.m. Come to PEEC and get building. On the first Friday of every month, join other kids who like building forts (and their parents) to build, play and hang out in your new place you created. PEEC Presents Natural Wonders of Los Alamos: Deer Trap Mesa. Los Alamos Community Health Council Faith Community “Health Speak Out” Town Hall Meeting will be from noon-1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 715 Diamond Dr. The goal of the town hall is to gather information from faith communities, agencies and people involved with providing emergency and basic needs services. LACHC will also share a summary of its 2011-2012 LACHC Los Alamos County Health Profile. Bring your own brown bag lunch. Drinks will be supplied.
