Summer Family Evenings at PEEC: Sea Otters and the Challenges of Rehabilitation. Veteran marine mammal rehabilitator Esta Lee Albright will give an interactive presentation about her work as a rehabilitator of orphaned sea otters. She will share facts and insights gained from her 14 years of working at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and have many pictures of the pups.  Family Game Night at Mesa Public Library. Join the geeks and gamers from 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the upstairs rotunda for game boards galore. All ages welcome, please bring a parent or another adult if you’re 12 or younger.

Doug Howe, District 3 PRC commissioner  will hold a “Focus On” meeting to discuss the new-found attention on unconventional natural gas supplies, at 7 p.m. in the upstairs meeting rooms at Mesa Public Library. All individuals interested in attending are welcome.  The Mesa Public Library Film Series presents “I Am Love,” starring Tilda Swinton, at 6:30 p.m. This will be the final movie of the Foreign Film Series.

First Friday Forts at PEEC from 3:30-5 p.m. Come to PEEC and get building. Los Alamos Community Health Council Faith Community “Health Speak Out” Town Hall Meeting will be from noon-1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 715 Diamond Dr. The goal of the town hall is to gather information from faith communities, agencies and people involved with providing emergency and basic needs services.
