Summer Family Evenings at PEEC: Star Party. Join them for a late-night Summer Family Evening to look at the moon and stars through PEEC’s telescope. The summer sky is full of sights since the Milky Way and center of galaxy are visible. PEEC will have telescopes set up outside our building starting around 8:15 p.m. Free.

Wednesday
Fall Field User Meeting has been scheduled from 11:30 a.m. –1 p.m. Bring all schedule request and liability of insurance to the meeting, if unable to attend designate someone in your place. Requests will be granted in first priority for those who attend the meeting. Lunch will be served bring your own drink. For more information or for forms, call Kim Trujillo at 662-8173. Forms can also be obtained at lacnm.us.

The next meeting of the NNM CAB is from 1-7 p.m. in Los Alamos at the Hilltop House Hotel, in the Taos Room. It is about environmental monitoring and clean up of the legacy radioactive waste at LANL. The public is welcome to attend. There are public comment periods at 1:15 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Los Alamos Community of Atheists will host a discussion regarding the relationship between morals, ethics and atheism. The  meeting will be from 6:30-8 p.m. in room one of Mesa Public Library. All are welcome.
