The Democratic Party of Los Alamos County will have their monthly meeting at 7 p.m. in Building 2 at UNM-LA. Guest speaker will be a representative from UNM-LA who is a part of the upcoming bond election. All Democrats are welcome.

The July field trip for the Los Alamos Geological Society will be at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Albuquerque. Participants will meet at 8 a.m. in the Sullivan Field parking lot to carpool.

High Mountain Mudfest. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Double-elimination mud volleyball tournament. This event combines volleyball and mud. Footwear is required and the use of duct tape is highly suggested to keep them on. Cost: $130/team (6-15 teams, 6-12 players). North Mesa Volleyball pits, 960 San Ildefonso Road.

Nature Playtime at PEEC. 10-11 a.m. Toddlers, preschoolers and caregivers come to PEEC to explore their natural world.
