Los Alamos Farmers Market. 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Mesa Public Library parking lot. Celebrate the 44th season. This week at market will be Leroy Pacheco from Los Alamos Recycling. First drawing for the contest 10 a.m.

Downtown Dogs. A weekly walking group for dogs and humans. The walk starts from Pet Pangaea at 6 p.m. on Thursday nights for a stroll around downtown Los Alamos. Bring a leash, no longer than six feet.

Wildflower Walk. 5:15 p.m. Join PEEC’s Jemez Mountains Herbarium curator, Chick Keller, for an easy walk to identify some of our local wildflower beauties. A plant list will be available. Saturday
Benefit breakfast for the American Cancer Society. 7:30-10:30 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 15th Street and Canyon Road. $7 for adults and $3 for children.

Bradbury Science Museum Cinema. 10:30 a.m. every Saturday. Short science films ranging in topics from microbes to aquifers to addiction. Archaeology Day at Puye Cliff Dwellings will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Puye Cliff Dwellings. This event is an opportunity for archaeological, cultural and historical sites in Northern New Mexico to collaborate and learn from one another. The Los Alamos Historical Society will be participating in this event and the public is invited. There will be booths, activities and dancing.
