Wildflower Walk with PEEC. Join Chick Keller, curator of PEEC’s Jemez Mountains Herbarium for an easy walk along a local trail to learn the names of wildflowers. A plant list will be provided. The monthly Democratic Party of Los Alamos County meeting will be at 7 p.m. at Mesa Library. Topics covered will be meeting the Democratic candidates running for local offices and discussing upcoming events for the candidates; hearing from Paul Frederickson about a conference he attended in Washington, D.C., planning the Fourth of July event; and a debriefing of the JFK dinner. All registered Democrats are welcome to attend.
