The First Ever Student Art Show at Karen Wray Fine Art features works by Wray’s students. The show runs through Thursday evening at 2101 Trinity Dr. Suite B2.
The Mesa Public Library Free Film Series presents, “Run Lola Run,” at 6:30 p.m. in the upstairs meeting rooms.
The White Rock Family Friendly Film Series presents, “The Adventures of Tin Tin,” at 7 p.m. in the White Rock Town Hall.

There will be an exhibit opening, “Los Alamos Opera Guild,” from 5-7 p.m., as part of Los Alamos Friday Night, at the Los Alamos Historical Museum.
There will be an opening reception for Harry C. Finney’s “Images for the Fire Gate Poems, Paintings, Prints, Drawings and Photographs,” exhibit from 7-8:30 p.m. in the upstairs art gallery at Mesa Public Library. The exhibit is on display June 2-30.

Hike to Guaje Canyon Overlook with PEEC. Paul Arendt leads this eight-mile hike. Meet at PEEC at 9 a.m. to carpool to the trailhead at the ski hill; bring lunch and water. Dogs welcome.
