The May meeting of the Los Alamos Master Gardeners will be a potluck dinner, which will be shared with the 2011 class of Master Gardeners, to celebrate their graduation from the class. The event will be at 6 p.m. at the White Rock Community Building. There will be a short business meeting afterwards.

The next Kick Off for the American Cancer Society’s Los Alamos Relay For Life will be from 7:30-10 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge on the corner of 15th St. and Sage. The Masons will serve their a waffle breakfast to help raise money for Relay. Relay For Life celebrates cancer survivors, remembers those who lost their battle with cancer, is a way for everyone to fight against cancer, is fun for the whole family, and raises money to support cancer research and services for cancer patients.
